Hey Everyone!

My name is Nessa Brown, and this is my fourth year teaching at Bellefonte Elementary School. I am excited to be your child's fourth grade teacher!! This is my 11th year teaching. Time flies...when you're having fun.

Ironically, it was in fourth grade I realized I wanted to be a teacher  because I was able to learn so much from my fourth grade teacher. I saw the way he built relationships, helped students when they needed it, and he was passionate about what he did. He went above and beyond for his students, and I knew I wanted to be just like him.

I am from Philipsburg, PA and I was a Pre K Counts teacher five years and a fourth grade teacher at YSCP in State College before coming to Bellefonte Elementary!

I live with my two labs (Oakley who is 9 years old and Buddy who is 7 years old) and my boyfriend Shane. We enjoy going on walks, going to the beach, and so much more. I also enjoy singing, going to the gym, and playing indoor soccer.

 

Fun Fact: I was born on February 29th ( which there is a 1 in 1,461 chance of happening), so I have only had 8 real birthdays. My students usually are interested in the fact that I have only ever had 8 actual birthdays.
