Hey Everyone!

My name is Nessa Brown, and this is my fifth year teaching at Bellefonte Elementary School. I am excited to be your child's fourth grade teacher!! This is my 12th year teaching. Time flies...when you're having fun.

Ironically, it was in fourth grade I realized I wanted to be a teacher  because I was able to learn so much from my fourth grade teacher. I saw the way he built relationships, helped students when they needed it, and he was passionate about what he did. He went above and beyond for his students, and I knew I wanted to be just like him.

I am from Philipsburg, PA and I was a Pre K Counts teacher five years and a fourth grade teacher at YSCP in State College before coming to Bellefonte Elementary!

I live with my two labs (Oakley who is 10 years old and Buddy who is 8 years old) and my fiance, Shane. We enjoy going on walks, going to the beach, and so much more. I also enjoy singing, going to the gym, and playing indoor soccer. We are also eagerly are awaiting our newest member to be of the family at the end of October.

 

Fun Fact: I was born on February 29th ( which there is a 1 in 1,461 chance of happening), so I have only had 8 real birthdays. My students usually are interested in the fact that I have only ever had 8 actual birthdays.
